These things are called Volumes 31 and 32 of the Japanese Erotica series.  They’re right about the “Japanese” part, and we’ll never know if Japanese viewers find them erotic, because each tape claims to be “illegal in Japan,” but this American reviewer finds them boring.

Take Sex Recycler… please!  It seems there’s this woman who wants to give her old newspapers to some freelance recycler, who turns out to be an old boyfriend.  He invites her up to his place where they spend about 30 minutes in a variety of sexual positions, none of which either of them appears to be enjoying.

Pleasure Business is a bit confusing.  Needless to say, the title refers to prostitution, and the actor is the boss of the business. The girl shows up in response to an ad he’s placed, wherever one places ads asking for hookers.  So why, then, does she struggle so when he tries to sample the product?  It can’t have been that much of a surprise.  Of course, the resistance is momentary, and soon we settle down to about 30 minutes of non-stop sex, in the now-proverbial variety of positions.

So what can I say?  The girls are cute, the acting is terrible, there’s no plot to speak of, and nobody sounds like they’re having fun.  The girls seem to be in pain… but maybe that’s how Japanese women typically respond.  (I’d hate to think so.)

So the Japanese adult film to see remains Tampon Tango, the Mr. Mike’s Mondo Video of Japanese porn. I keep hoping for one to equal this zenith, and now, after seeing these… I’m still waiting.
