Today's loops are shot-on-video. But as it has always been, the best loops are the most creative ones, or at least the hottest vignettes of sex. These first two volumes in the low-priced Awesome series are neither creative, nor erotic.

Trinity Loren announces that Awesome 1 is her first hardcore work. She masturbates with a dildo, takes on Peter North on a sofa and John Stagliano, supposedly the cameraman, is so worked up that he has to join in. He attempts to do Loren anally, but that lasts merely a minute or so. The sound is muffled and Loren's inexperience is evident. Add that to the fact that the sex is just standard and uninteresting, and you have less than satisfactory porn.

In Awesome 2, a foursome goes on for about 15 minutes, with a boring double-fellatio and straight, missionary stuff. Most of the rest of the tape consists of double penetration with the amazingly unattractive Loose Latue and her manhole-sized anal cavity. Yuk! And it's poorly filmed, to boot. D.P. fans will have to look elsewhere...

These first two Awesome tapes may be inexpensively priced for collectors, but they're anything but awesome. Better luck with future volumes that feature Christy Canyon and bigger name stars.
