Every product has a buyer, and certainly compilation tapes can well serve an audience that likes its action fast and varied. Unfortunately, by selecting a lineup of visually and conceptually dull sex sequences, Black Heat gives the viewer nothing for his hour except maybe a good cramp.

And here lies the rub. We're given a fairly attractive ensemble of performers, but the performances never quite get the show on the road. In what should have been a primitively erotic coupling Johnny Keyes and Mimi Morgan play it out more like Fay Wray being porked by the key grip on the set of the original King Kong.

Yet, if I have to have the pick of the litter, I'll give thumbs-up to the swimming pool-tooling interlude with Kitty Shane, Sue Nero, Bernie Howard and Tony Dee (wait, I thought this was to be an interracial tape.) Mainly because it's hard not to like delicious looking ladies drooping their bikini bottoms in the three-foot section. And talk about class, the scene with Bernie Howard taking a wet shot into a bowl of cauliflower must have a deeper level of symbolism than I can comprehend.
