Golf is like sex: you don't have to be good to enjoy it.
These words of wisdom from Steve Drake really sum up Caddy Shack-Up, a raunchy tale of country club sex that scores an eagle on action but bogies the story. Krista Lane is the new caddy who falls head over crotch for her boss, Buddy Love. It's inventory day at the club, so nobody so much as swings a club. But that doesn't stop everyone from working on their stroke.
Things tee off with a lesbian scene between Lane and Tanya Fox in the locker room that begins slow and sensual, but ends fast and furious. The rest of the round consists of sexual birdies (like the Paula Harlow-Krista Lane-Buddy Love three-way where the girls show Buddy they know the proper grip, and an interracial grouping with F.M. Bradly, Drake and Lori Lovett that features anal, oral and breast balling) intermixed with storyline sand straps. But the sex saves par here as everyone looks for a hole in one, and then the other, in which to skin their clubs. (Frank James even teases Purple Passion with a real club.)
Technically the production is fine as director Jack Remy shows a steady eye for capturing all this great "sports" action. I would have liked to have seen more outdoor sex —like on the green or in a bunker— rather than just the fake outdoor romp between Bradley and Fox. And the story, while being weak, does manage to tie the action together (although loosely). But please, give me a break with the golf puns. Why, the only place I've seen more duffer innuendo... is in this review!
