From the confines of Kirov, Russia to the shores of Utah's great Salt Lake, Vanessa Del Rio has banged her way around the world. She left her black mother in the Soviet Union and took jobs as a dildo saleswoman and film star in Paraguay. Really! It's true. Vanessa says so herself.

Thankfully, the Dark Brothers don't take themselves seriously, because video after video all looks the same and this mock documentary, which is loads of fun, provides a breath of fresh stuff. Vanessa Del Rio makes a film or video whenever she damn well pleases, and it's easy to see why she is one of the most sought after actresses in porn. Besides being funny, Deep Inside Vanessa Del Rio is quite erotic as well.

No real relationships are formed here, as Vanessa takes on her sex partners as if there were no tomorrow. Aided by "documentary" footage, the tape serves as a parody of all those "inside" films that "seriously" discuss the careers of various actresses. When she leaves Russia, Vanessa gets searched, inside and out, by Communist police Lois Ayres and Marc Wallace. Upon her return, she takes on five male Soviets at once. The hottest segment in the feature, however, involves Ms. Del Rio and Frenchman Francois Papillon.

The typical weird and wonderful art direction (credited to Pez D. Spencer) of Dark Brothers Productions is a perfect balance to the goofy proceedings. Director Gregory Dark amply captures all the action, leaving foreplay to the couples films and bringing the production in at a crisp moving 76 minutes. This features really clicks. The combination of humor and sex works extremely well and the tape has the best theme song in ages, like Frank Zappa going Latino. If you want to get inside Vanessa Del Rio, here's a comedy definitely worth grabbing.
