Well, frankly, I didn't even break out in a sweat. Oh, there's some good sex scenes here (two, as a matter of fact), but sex is all there is to Temperature's Rising, which probably would have made it a big hit 15 or so years ago.
Three male joggers are out on their morning run when one stumbles and twists his ankle. Carrying him to a nearby house for aid, who do they find home but four horny young nurses, one of whom tells these perfect strangers that her boyfriend just dumped her because she didn't know how to "deep throat." Yeah, nothing like stretching credibility to its outermost limits!
Well, before you can say "Hey, kids, let's put on a show!" these good folk pair off, with one girl left to fend for herself for awhile, and have at one another in the kitchen, the bathroom and (of all places!) the bedroom. Now, these scenes are well acted, and the kitchen interlude is nicely handled with humor and a real sense of romance, but the constant cutting back and forth is repetitious and makes even this well-acted scene seem too long. Also annoying is the director's overuse of "video tricks" like slo-mo, slow fades, coloring and so forth. Leave that stuff to the film majors at USC.
As all-sex films go, Temperature's Rising has enough heat to defrost an icebox, and gets a cool reception from this reviewer.
