There used to be a time when you could count on a quality product every time you picked up Essex title. And that still holds somewhat true for the Barbara Dare titles. But recently, the company has been releasing some real bombs, and The Cat Club is on that list.
The story surrounds the goings on at a mail-order cat veterinarian school. So much for story. And so much for production values. The lighting and color are incredibly annoying, the crew can be seen and heard so often they qualify for actor’s pay, and to say that it’s been edited is being generous. The cast, while appearing attractive in clothes, show a couple of extra pounds when the flesh is exposed. And they know nothing of seduction or conveying emotion.
The Cat Club lacks quality on too many fronts to merit even the slightest recommendation. Definitely for members only.
