What a strange (and sometimes beautiful) video this is! It's been a long time since Mike Horner had a starring role, and with his acting ability, he shouldn't be wasted. Unfortunately, the plot of this poor excuse for a melodrama undercuts just what Horner does best: light comedy. Still, he might have rescued the between-sex scenes if only he weren't forced to repeat the same ideas over and over again.

He plays the husband of Shanna McCullough, who he's sure is having an affair with somebody, and he spends the entire picture brooding about it...and spending big bucks on hookers to numb his sensibilities. The truth, of course, is that he's changed since they were married, and she doesn't feel anything for him anymore. He even decides to rape her to "get even," in one of the video's hottest (and to my mind, most perverse) scenes. McCullough plays her role to the hilt, but her great talent is wasted here.

Other excellent performances are turned in by blonde Angela Baron, as Don's first hooker, whom he takes in the basement of a deserted building, and who delivers a performance hot enough to melt your VCR. Likewise, Jessica Wylde will knock your underwear off with her steamy sexuality, even though she doesn't speak a word.

So see this for the sex, and ignore, if you can, the philosophy. You'll learn more about life from soap operas.
