Rio Heat generates enough of its namesake, but the bad acting and flubbed lines take away from what should have been an excellent video. However, Elle Rio, a sexual dynamo (er' animal) get top billing and proves she has a glowing future in the sexvid field.

Rio plays a maid who enters a household and turns it upside down . . . sexually. When she's not involved in lesbian sex or a roundelay with Buddy Love, she influences others to partake in wild sex. The story lapses continue throughout the production, however, leaving serious continuity problems.

Nonetheless, Rio Heat gets high grades in the erotic and technical departments. Although a couple of sex scenes linger (obviously in an attempt to lengthen the feature), Leslie Winston, Siobahn Hunter and especially the sizzling and now very blonde Erica Boyer turn in fine flesh performances. In fact, Boyer's swallowing of Kevin James is the tape's best erotic scene; nasty, yet sensual.

Director Jack Remy captures all of the steam effectively, with standard camera angles and professional directorial decision. The video quality is also fine.
