As a vehicle to showcase Barbara Dare, Roman Holiday succeeds. On most every other level, though, it slides like olive oil off a Lamborghini.
Speaking of Lamborghinis, Porsche Lynn plays Antonia, Barbara Dare's cousin, who's commissioned by Barbara's father, olive oil magnate Uncle Vito (F.J. Lincoln), to find a missing Barbara. Lynn isn't in Rome for more than five minutes before she decides to test out some authentic Italian cuisine - bellboy Rocky Siffreddy. After tax and tip, Lynn/Antonia resumes her search to find Barbara.
As if you couldn't put this together, Dare is off with Giancarlo (John Leslie), an oversexed pervert. She wants to signoff, stating that having sex 67 times in one week is enough, however Giancarlo claims it's bad luck to end on an odd number . . . an even number, and so forth.
Dare and Lynn keep crossing paths, until the viewers finally get what they want -a scene where they sample their respective fruits.
Seeing these two lovely ladies together is enjoyable and makes the video worthwhile from that standpoint. Throw in decent performances from Lisa Bella, Marilyn Jess and Joey Silvera as a Father Guido Sarducci soundalike for sound supporting acting. But the attempts at comedy are feeble.
