In case you're wondering, the Million Dollar Screw is Missy Watkins (Sheri Sloan), whose husband died in a fiery motorcycle accident, leaving her a massive insurance policy. Of course, we don't find out about the insurance until an unscrupulous insurance agent (Buck Adams) tries to cheat her out of it ... but that's the way in goes in soap operas like this one.

Now, I have great respect for soap operas. If you want to learn how Middle America thinks, you'll find out from the soaps. That's where too many of our countrymen get their ideas about life, not the least of which is that there are some people who'll jump into bed with other people at the drop of a hat. And isn't that what XXX cinema is all about? So there's a natural blending between the two genres that should be more fully explored.

But the real star of this particular soap is Missy's best friend, Christy (Laurie Peacock), who has two four-alarm scenes. In the beginning, she comforts Missy in the only way possible for widows to really be comforted, and later struts her stuff (horizontally) with husband Jerry (Don Fernando) in some action that you'll need a cold shower (or a hot partner) to forget.

Keisha also turns in a creditable performance as Missy's husband's best friend's wife, with Gail Force finishing at the bottom of this lovely heap. Her boyfriend (Peter North) has a better scene with Missy than he does with her. Still, there's enough action and, perhaps more importantly, acting talent to keep you riveted.
