Taking a creative break from its cabaret T & A shows, Active Home Video has voyaged into the featurette market-place with its latest release called Love Notes.
Featuring plot, storyline, humor and sexual tease, the tape features three separate "Battle Of The Sexes" stories, much in the same vein as the old "Love American Style" TV show. Everything ends with a kiss and make up or make out punchline.
Of the three vignettes, I'd put my money on "Suitin Up" as the better example of what can be rendered with light-hearted sex. It concerns a phys. Ed coach trying to cajole a student to change for gym class. The student refuses until another teacher, Miss Gillespie comes along to "demonstrate."
The skit has the right touch of dialog, energy and pacing that's needed to sustain a concept for future successful releases.
Love Notes is also an interesting video from the point of view that Active assesses the market to be ripe for accepting adult features that are sexy, sassy and far less graphic. They seem to have made a good choice.
