It's no wonder the director forgot to put his name on either the opening or closing credits of Soaked! I'd be kind of embarrassed, too, if I shot a feature about a bar's wet t-shirt contest and then, during the climactic contest scene, forgot to wet down the shirts!
Aside from that minor gaff, this is not a bad tape. Ostensibly a Cheers parody (given the milleu and character names), Soaked! gets things moving quickly with a bartop boffing with waitress Shelly Rey and perennial customer Ron Jeremy. Rey also turns up in the "obligatory lesbian scene" with Rachel Ryan that's well-handled, as is the scene with Trinity (who, amazingly enough, doesn't win the contest) and Shane Hunter (who makes it difficult not to laugh because of his vocal similarity to the Monkees' Davi Jones). No award-winning scenes here, but the cast knows what's expected of them and get some real heal in what they do. Next time, director, get some water on those shirts.
