Now what would be the logical title for a video where the lead girl (Aja) is named Tara and no one is named Suzie? Why, Suzie Superstar III, of course. This mess of a feature trades on the good name of the original classic and its good sequel and delivers gobbledygook. The opening girl/girl with Barbara Dare (who's never seen again) and Jessica Bishard nothing to do with anything that follows; there are references to scenes which may or may not have ever been taped; the excuse of the story just stops without resolution and the best acting is done by director Stallion in his usual cameo. Plotwise, Don Fernando owns a nightclub (actually Gazzari's in Hollywood) where a weekly talent contest is held. Aja wants to win, and bartender Stallion hopes she does. Anything else of the story would make as little sense to you as it did to me. None of the six sex scenes is more than perfunctory, but Aja does do a dance/strip that saves this one from total disaster. A waste of a good title.
