On the eve of her wedding, bride-to-be Tori Welles gets a spate of last ditch phone calls from all her former beaus who want one last one for old times' sake. Welles is avowed and intent on her commitment despite a past that would make Christine Keeler blanche. The groom's father (Rick Savage) has a private detective on her and warns son Tom Byron that he's making a big mistake. Of course the old man's an insufferable hypocrite who keeps a girlfriend (Cheri Taylor) on the side and is not adverse to making a pass at Welles (a very captivating tease/sex scene ensues).

Tori plays a woman who's a thorough mess. She says she wants to be good and wants to reform, but everyone keeps telling her "you can't change the spots on a leopard." Guess what? You can't and Welles knows it, a fact well stated in a scene where she cries out on the phone to Byron only moments after she's put it to Peter North. Welles registers her best performance yet as a woman bound and gagged on a collision course. The sex is highly erotic, not raunchy (a point to stress). And it's nice to see Carol Cummings as her sister get an acting role where she doesn't have to bounce her eyes around like a New Year's noise maker. Great packaging.
