"I can't believe it's a video." That's not a new TV commercial slogan, but it could well be one for this new soft-focus entry from V.P.I.

I don't like to dole out praise for the sake of blowing smoke, but Best Wishes, for being a video, has the look, flow and quality of any film on the market. To explain that, the producers went to lots of diffusion filters, gels and spent considerable time and work in color design to basically play tricks with the eye and giver you a feeling of warmth. That's point #1 in the company's favor. Point #2 is the attempt to try something different in the alternative adult market. Best Wishes, a familiar storyline of people out of their creative element trying to do a porn movie, tries to cover all the fantasy bases – sexy secretaries, newscasters, nurses, dancers, you name it – and do it with lots of tease, class and arousal. It's achieved that with believable acting and loads of attractive performers in this cast.

For a first entry in the T & A market, Best Wishes characteristically pulls some punches. But subsequent productions will bear out my hunch that V.P.I. will be THE T&A contender of the decade. They have taken a major step in the alternative adult production market, and I'm looking forward with great anticipation to their future work.
