Could it be that Tony Montana's been holding out on us? Could it be that he's not the worst actor this side of Hulk Hogan? In Angelica, a quasi-romantic crime drama with ltos of crosses and double-crosses, Tony acquits himself rather well as a Mexican kidnapper who wants out of the barrio. Debi Diamond plays his not-very-unwilling victim. But there isn't as much of a spoiled brat in her as her character's part calls for. The action scenes are actually well paced. Instead, the story doesn't get lost but is punctuated by the sex. Raven Richards – totally unconvincing as Tony's Mexican girlfriend, is the standout in the bedroom department, however. Her one on one with Marc Wallice will have the viewer sweating along with the participants. A nice effort for the couples' market.
