(Terego's Introductory Joke to Take the Edge Off an Average Review: Groucho Marx in Animal Crackers: "We took some pictures of the native girls, but they weren't developed.")
Perhaps a better title would have been "Overexposed." It seems that of every good film that writer/director Jonathan Burroughs comes up with is followed by a mediocre one. Triple Exposure is a contrived tale of love games among the "rich and famous" with a sprinkling of uninspired sex scenes mixed with the better stuff.
The cast is competent, but we're not seeing anything original here, folks. The film's pace is slowed to the point that such generally stimulating performers as Mai Lin, Nikki Charm and Buck Adams come off wanting. As to plot, it seems to hinge around a divorcee's party to inaugurate her vintage clothing business and a blackmail plot that's connected to art forgery...I think. Those of us that look for good plots in adult films get dismayed when even the most paper-thin of plotlines is treated with reckless abandon. Reckless abandon should be saved for bedroom vignettes.
Triple Exposure takes a workmanlike director, a fairly established cast and not much premise to speak of, but, photographically speaking, very little develops.
