The latest addition to auteur Scotty Fox's roll-call of adult mini-series, Legend is just what the name implies -- an epic with the sexual energy to back up its claim. Aside from having one of the best sex scenes this reviewer has ever viewed, there's also a quaint little story to complement the heat.
Small-town girls Lauren Hall and Sabrina Dawn see adult movie acting as their ticket to fame and fortune. An "audition" tape of the two in action brings mogul Randy West and assistant Jacqueline out from Hollywood. However, Hall's restrictive father, Rick Savage, has a very private reason for not wanting her "in the business."
Everything works here, from a great all-girl scene with Hall and Dawn to Savage's seduction by the ever-resourceful Jacqueline. But the top scene goes to Hall and West as a drenched Lauren is invited into West's fuel-free car, and what follows is a perfectly arousing blend of sights and sounds.
Though a few sound problems mar the action, the technical quality of Legend is pretty good. Which of the two girls go back to Hollywood with West? I wouldn't say even if I knew; the upcoming sequel will tell.
