Comedian John Byner hosts the First Annual Platinum Doll Go Go Awards from the "Chez Paree" in Atlantic City. For the top prize of $10,000 the girls come out on stage in front of the live audience and do a short dance sequence set to pop music. In between numbers, Byner cracks an occasional joke.

There is no nudity in Go Go Dancer and the entire video could probably be shown in prime time network television without much of a furor. The girls strip off some of their garments until they get to their bikinis. There is some mild teasing activity and the costumes are tantalizing. Essentially what the viewer sees is the first section of a three set act that would take place in a strip bar.
