The inmates take over the asylum in this alleged screwball comedy when Jerry Butler is committed for “oversexed behavior.”
Since the inmates are forbidden from doing the act, they naturally spend all of their time flagrantly breaking the rules, and the staff are more than happy to oblige them.
Perhaps Henri Pachard had so much fun with this cameo appearance that he forgot he was also the director. The chaos of the weak, uncontrolled performances abounds in this feature which suddenly is thrust into low gear for the sex scenes. As for the latter, Raquel makes a token appearance, but the slack is taken up by limited appeal sex scenes. This looney tune isn’t amusing or erotic, and that’s all, folks.
