Seven different vintage black-and-white porn reels are sandwiched within a goofy modern fame story starring Arthur Beasley (doing a poor man's Stan Laurel) and Buddy Zeppelin as down-on-their-luck Depression-era guys who decide to try their hand at stag films. They don't bother to hire any actors; they just sneak around and film sex where they can find it, which is everywhere.
The star find of this disc must be the propaganda loop that features a man in a Hitler mask, a condom emblazoned with a swastika and an ill-timed case of impotence for the fascist leader. There is also a transvestite-themed reel, several women masturbating, and a couple who alternate peeing in a bucket. The film is unrestored and sometimes of poor quality, but that won't matter much to true aficionados. These are a fascinating slice of early porn history.
Beasley and Zeppelin's antics are not only gratuitous, but gratingly unfunny. Fortunately, each vintage loop is also offered in an unedited version in the special features.
Retailing: Curious porn historians will get a kick out of this disc.
