Come With Me, My Love, from director Doris Wishman, is a ghost story, beginning in 1925 in "Kenmare City," where a disgruntled husband (Jeffrey Hurst) kills his wife and her lover, then commits suicide. Fast-forward 51 years and Hurst is haunting the apartment rented by lonely Ursula Austin, where his ghostly form comes out of the wall at night and essentially rapes her. Ursula's a little weirded out by what she thinks are sexual dreams, but gal-pals Annie Sprinkle and Vanessa Del Rio are usually too wrapped in their own fucking to help.
It's unclear which lady is referred to in the title, but Satan Was a Lady involves sisters Bree Anthony and Annie Sprinkle, both of whom are interested in stud Tony Rich – and both of whom want their mom (Sandy Fox) to butt out of their lives. Little do they know how involved she is!
Retailing: Two mid-?70s classics with enough well-known stars to generate interest.
