A “Three’s Company” spoof, of all things, Live In Love In is a quickly-paced, heavily-sexed slice of erotica that benefits from fine performances by veteran stars like Robert Bullock and Peter North, hot talents Tori Welles and Tamara Lee, and newcomers Victoria Paris and Carol Cummings.
Set in 1969, Live In features Bullock as a draft-dodging college student who avoids Vietnam by pretending to be gay. Well, this keeps him out of the service, but also keeps Bullock away from luscious housemates Paris and Lee, until his “true nature” is revealed through an impromptu “cram session: with classmate Cummings. Along for the ride are landlord North and his hippy girlfriend Welles, and straight-arrow ROTC officer Durwood Small, who uses his “heat-seeking missile” for some special war games with Paris Cummings.
You won’t find anything new or different in this feature, just some well-handled encounters that the cast imbibes with a vitality not often seen these days. Paris has one of the finer bodies to come down the pike in recent memory, and is used to good advantage along with Lee, while Bullock’s patented comedy performance keeps things moving. There’s plenty of good livin’ and good lovin’ in Live In Love In for the adult film buff. Nice packaging.
