Although the quality of these two features from the new Video Exclusives subsidiary is uneven, the results are not totally dreadful. In these two entrees, we get members of the stock company going through their paces without benefic of what I consider a plot or believable dialog. While the actors don't get good lines, the director is clearly audible giving them instructions more than once. Sweet Sensations is the old chestnut of couples checking into a motel for sex. There is no real connecting story line to hold our interest and the sex scenes are purely mechanical. Ergo, no eroticism. Sex on the Town is a TV talk show with sex as the topic of the day. With better dialog, delivery and some Ron Jeremy humor that works for a change, it is clearly the better of the two offerings. The sex segments are also better with Cassie Nova taking top honors in enthusiasm plus the Buck Adams-Laura Lei stint having both tease and heat. Even the usually cold Eva Allen seems to be enjoying herself. With such hit or miss quality between these two videos, future Sextasy ventures should make for interesting sampling.
