Debutante time. Julianne James in her coming-out video plays a dead ringer for an actress named Ginger Monroe who suffers these amnesia bouts and drops off the face of the earth every time she goes into a memory swoon.

During one of those disappearing acts, Torrey Welles and Randy West as the mini-entourage to actress Monroe, figure what the hell, lookalike James will do in a pinch. Being adult video, the "Prince and the Pauper" angle gets lost and confuddled within minutes of the opening curtain amid James' valley girl dialect: "Gingerunmesha, meshamova's coming out this Friday." No lie, that's her opening lines and I rewound the tape five times to catch it.

Plot destroyed, let's ramble onto the sex: great. Torrey Welles is absolutely born to porn. Welles works this lesbo scene with James, digging into her rear end like James was an Armenia earthquake project. Rachel Ryan as an aspiring ingenue trying to get one up on Monroe/James, is scrumptious and has a classic ass-up sequence with a character named Harry Roosevelt (Jon Dough) who has a sex technique more like Franklin. The story, resolves somewhere amid James' bewilderment and yours trying to figure out whether she's now James-Monroe-James. Good dialog and strong sex makes up for it. Excellent packaging helps push it over the top.
