Reviews

This spoof on Out Of Africa has some good things going for it, mainly the four great-looking black women. Sahara looks beautiful and delivers some funny lines as the horny Voodoo Queen, Jeannie Pepper is voluptuous and intensely sexual, Angel Kelly is gorgeous with a phenomenal body, and newcomer Patricia Lockhart has a charming girlishness. There's also some funny dialog that makes fun of the clichés of old movies, and Jerry Butler, Nina Hartley and Sahara all have a feel for their tongue-in-check (all puns intended) lines.

The best sex scene occurs when Nina Hartley takes on hot new black actor Brad Vale. He has a great body, and style, and best of all he relates to Nina as if he really wants her. Nina and Sahara have fun with their girl/girl scene, and the contrast of chocolate and cream bodies is very effective. The rest of the sex is fairly standard.

The sets and outdoor locations give this film a feel of Africa. The music is not great, but keeps a flavor of the jungle through drums supplementing the usual synthesizer. In And Out Of Africa is one of the better interracial efforts as of late. It's sense of humor and pretty peoplemake this a worthwhile movie within the genre.
