It must be thwarted, frustrated writers' month in the adult industry.  John Stagliano is a screenwriter named John Ross whose ethereal concepts of romance and anal sex are wrecking all kinds of havoc and dismay in his marriage to Brandy Alexandre.  Stagliano is trying to sell a script to movie producer Britt Morgan who practically laughs him off the map for his "romantic slop."  Suffering some emotional downtime as a result, Stagliano makes acquaintance of ingenue Tori Welles whom he envisions as the embodiment of the way, the truth and the light (boy, is he ever fooled).

Morgan decides to throw Stag a bone by assigning him to do a screenplay on rock star Billy Dee (with the worst Cockney accent you ever heard).  He fluffs his writing assignment and worse yet, fluffs his assessment of Welles who turns out to be your garden variety "slut."

More than any adult feature I've seen yet, I love the way Stagliano establishes his sex scenes here.  Cheri Taylor practically bursts through the screen in one scene as she sensuously, meticulously buffs Dee's sports car (remember Cool Hand Luke?).  The director gives you a visual reason for wanting to see these dames plowed - a capsule lesson in sexvid film directing.  Besides, there's threesomes, foursomes, fivesomes galore.  You get just about a generous taste of everything in Mystic Pieces.

Everything about the feature is top notch - screenplay, acting, videography, pace, tension and of course, sex.  The packaging, unique enough to draw attention, perpetuates the Evil Angel line, which has a classy look to it.  This is five straight winners from a company that deserves your support.
