Dreamland's commitment to couples-oriented carnality continues unabated in this well-written and sexually aware look at the steamier machinations of the motion picture industry.
Director Raft brings this rather complex tale to life by eliciting believable, naturalistic performances from his cast, especially Patricia Kennedy who shines in an elegantly mounted lesbian encounter. Old pros Edwards and Alexandre likewise fan the fires of lust in the energetic finale which is taken to even greater heights of torridity thanks to top-rate camerawork and editing (Edwards himself is listed as the video's editor in the closing credits).
With stretches of credible drama punctuated by healthy doses of well-lensed eroticism, Making Tracks is sure to be embraced by anyone longing for the return of story-oriented porn. Chaz Vincent acquits herself very well in her first real shot at a legitimate acting role, the sex simmers and a quality production enters the marketplace at a time when too many titles simply fall.
