The Renegade is Sharon Kane in this lesser version of Power Blonde. Sharon works for Joey Silvera and Rick Savage but wants more out of life. She uses steno Alexandria Quinn, friend Raquel and secretary Samantha Strong for blackmail and espionage to get her way. The weak script forces Kane to deliver lines that don't ring true. When we hear that "power is an aphrodisiac" not only does it sound familiar, but it now sounds trite. The raunch-filled sex scenes makeup for the tepid storyline. When Derrick and Raquel through their normal tussle, Kane sits nearby talking dirty which sets the moment apart from all other Derrick/Raquel tussles. The rest of the action is garden variety, but I must say Raquel does look beautiful again. Warning to Kelly Royce fans: she's billed but isn't in it.
