This is going to show you where my head is at, but in this sling of interviews featuring pretty models and their photogs, I found what the photographers (predominantly men) had to say far more enlightening.

The sex appeal angle is that the model talks into the camera and discusses her life on planet earth.  All the while the viewer is being served intermittent morsels of her denuding herself before the snap-shooting photographer.  Interestingly, the model's conversations always manage to swing around to the subject of spread legs poses.

There's a lot of conversation in this video almost on the PBS level, so don't go looking at this tape for cheap thrills and spills. A little of the "in" stuff for those who recognize a couple of models as adult actresses and can take their comments with that grain of salt perspective.
