As a T&A show, Love Letters does all the right things. It's just that it does them, perhaps, with all the wrong people. But as a pure expression of what a glamour tape is supposed to be, Love Letters, though videographically flat here and there, is sincerely on the money.

Personally, I can't buy into the fantasy of XXX stars posing like blushing June brides, but that's me, and it's more for the diehard fan to decide whether this kind of tape works for them.

Borrowing some obvious inspiration from 1940s and 50s "nudie" loops with emphasis on cutesy, girl-next-door cheesecake, there's several points of interest to note about this tape. Leilani passed away several months ago, so this may be the last opportunity her fans have of catching some heretofore unseen footage of her. She poses nude in an outdoor setting and is Cassandra Dark's opponent in a truncated pillow fight.

Taylor Wane's segment must have been lensed while Zorro was still freeing da pipples of Los Angle-leeze. It features Taylor in her old Kathryn Harrold hairdo and old bosom (not Kathryn's). In her romp, Taylor does a poolside strip and some poses, then tries on some sweaters and cutoffs in an indoor scene. The stint featuring Alicyn Sterling is hlikely older than a pair of Babylonian sweat socks. Here Alicyn sports a chest that makes her look more like Rod Serling as she does some classic Sally Rand moves sans clothes – in ballet slippers, yet!!

Heather Hart offers generous glamour girl moves as she strips out of a lounge lizard body suit, but the tape's best moments feature Vahalla in a derivative 9 ½ Weeks-style striptease out of garter belts and stockings. Even though the scene is a couple of watts shy of adequate lighting, its heart is certainly in the right place. Overall, the video quality serves this tape best in the outdoor sets, and runs uneven in the indoor material.
