A moon in the sky. Look at the face on the moon. It's Ron Jeremy! Well, we won't go that far. But Ron Jeremy plays Alf, Stephanie Rage plays Falice, Randy Paul plays Fred Horton and Shanna McCullough does Prixie. And these are The Horneymooners.
A perfect set, the colorized version of the original, sets the backdrop while we finally see the Ramdon's bedroom for all the sex. Falice is sleeping with Horton, Alf's doing Prixie and the Latin lover dance instructor neighbor Carlos Valentino is doing everybody. This is a classic sitcom gone wild.
Ron Jeremy, very good as Alf, finally lands a role where he's not fat enough. McCullough and Rage are selected for their sexual prowess and they perform some hot scenes. But Randy Paul rises above everyone else in his portrayal of Horton. He has many of Art Carney's characteristics down and provides many laughs, which ultimately helps the feature.
Although I recommend you buy The Horneymooners, I would have loved to see some improvements. How about a laugh track? Why not shoot the expository scenes in black an white (you could still have the sex in color)? Why not let Jeremy really let loose and yell out his lines like the real Ralph? Ah, but time and budget must be considered and this one works anyway. Try it!
