Well, at the very least one would have thought that, with a title like La Bimbo, the video might have served as a showcase for some of the industry's better known Latino actresses. And there's no teen singing idol here, either. What we are left with is a by-the-numbers sexvid that features a few good performances but makes shameful underuse of its premise and female lead.

Talented and lovely newcomer Alicia Monet stars as the horny housefrau who's fed up with hubby Dan T. Mann's impotence. With some help from girlfriend Lauren Canyon, she arranges to advertise in a swingers' newspaper for some "amateur therapy" to help Mann out of his doldrums. After some fairly memorable encounters for both Mann and Monet the couple are finally united during a menage a trois with Canyon.

Assuming that Mann served as director (the box credits Lee Cooper, which may or may not be a pseudonym), it can be said that La Bimbo is the product of a promising new director. Several of the individual scenes are well-lensed, and veteran performer Randy West shines as a hot-to-trot stud. For some reason, however, Monet has only two all-girl scenes along with her finale with Mann. This is no way to treat such a potentially major talent.
