Here are a couple of tapes in very pretty boxes that will make people rent them. Both have obviously low budgets, but one works better and maintains eroticism because of a more energetic cast. Both features from Video Exclusives feature attractive women and Naughty Neighbors starts out promising with a typically fine (could it be the last?) and hot scene with sexy Blondi and her now ex-boyfriend Tony Montana.

But Naughty Neighbors really gets lost with less than adequate sex scenes. Cute newcomer Sunny Daye, with her bright eyes and sexy demeanor, gets the benwah ball treatment from Blake Palmer, but it's downhill from there. The sound echoes throughout and director Ron Jeremy seems to be ad-libbing this feature most of the time. Thumbs down.

Now I'm sure the budget for California Blondes 2 wasn't any more than for Naughty Neighbors (the same type one house setting), but director Bill Blackman gets exciting, erotic performances from the cast. It's that ol "hey man, move to California so you can f**k the blondes" plot and some of the dialog gets drowned out by layers of superfluous music. But let's give credit to Dana Lynn and Stephanie Rage for some good steamy sex scenes, lifting California Blondes 2 above the heep of cheap, dreary sexvids. Thumbs up.
