Blinded By Love has a great box cover and a sexy, well-mounted feature inside. Has anyone noticed that the sexually charged Leena has become a pretty good actress?
A nicely-paced story gently unfolds in this slightly offbeat erotic gem told with flair by Michael Craig. Kudos also go to the performers, especially the always-outstanding Mike Horner, and Leena, who brings a delightful blend of innocence and sensuality to her role. In addition to the abundance of exterior shots and breathtaking locations used (check out the view in the Debi Diamond/Steven St. Croix bout!), the camerawork is excellent. Oh, and the sex sizzles, too.
Without giving away too much of the story, Horner, a bad boy on the lam, crosses paths with and falls for Leena. It's a love story with a twist, especially when his gang (Steve Drake, Krista, Diamond, St. Croix) catches up with him. Krista and Drake share a molten moment in a garage where she demonstrates that she can indeed throw a mean fuck; Crystal Wilder and Terry Thomas appear briefly for a non sequitur poolside anal which is expertly shot and a typical Wilder spine-tingler. Horner and Leena's union encompasses passion, depth and pathos. Leena's billiard table labia-licking session with Krista is also a wonder to behold.
The ending, which is full of twists and surprises, is a fine closer to this excellent entry from a fine director. Market with other Craig, Leena or Pinnacle features.
