Infatuation isn't even fresh off the cutting room floor, yet, though by the time you read this blurb it should be available. BUT, in the interests of news-breaking journalism we thought we'd give you and entertaining sneak preview.
Yours truly happened to be on the set where this little modem day flesh epic was conceived. So judging by the script, seeing the girls in the film up close, watching talented director Ed Holzman's loving detail in getting full and sumptuously provocative body shots, I'd say we have a winner on our hands.
Infatuation is probably best described as The Big Chill with yards and yards of skin. It centers around a Jayne Mansfield-type gal whose become a successful TV soap opera star. Because of her unexpected success, she invites some of her closest friend from high school over to her Hollywood Hills mansion for a five year reunion. Nude jacuzzi romps, nude swimming pool romps, nude parties, body groping and lots of female pulchritude help bolster a cute storyline. Produced by Cable Entertainment Distribution, the film is attempting some unchartered waters in alternative adult entertainment. Well, not really, since the nudie epics of the sixties zeroed in on the ladies and said to hell with the script. Infatuation at least has one along with six very attractive women in its cast.
A spokesman for CED said Infatuation represents a mission to provide more titillating adult entertainment to the pay per view audience. "You'll see everything. Remember, this is not a hardcore flick, but thee's enough eroticism and lingering body worship shots in this film where you will not miss the hardcore. This film should make all our viewers pretty happy."
