Talented Eric Edwards, director of the superior Mirage 2, presents us with his version of The Apartment, which doesn’t begin to make the least sense until the end, and not much even then. It seems that the ladies in this show are oppressed by bosses Tom Elliott and Rick Blaine, who use Anisa’s flat from time to time for an extra-marital fling. But the twist here is that Anisa’s got the place bugged and the girls will use the tapes to get raises and promotions. I do like the scene between diminutive Teri Diver and tall Tom Elliott, but it isn’t enough to raise this show from above the pack. Here’s a note to people who keep track of these things: Blonde Cassidy is now a brunette.
