This is a fine Night Court inspired sex comedy complete with a laugh track and ridiculously risqué cases brought to trial. Jerry Butler is a horny attorney. Aja is his straight-laced foil. Dominique in a cop’s uniform is “Raz,” and a bald-headed, almost unrecognizable Mike Horner is “Ball,” the bailiff.
Candidate for funniest sex scene of the year is Butler’s bout with Dominique, complete with panties around his head, bountiful one-liners and a mannequin hand. He even hums the theme to The Addams Family. (His wife, for those who don’t know, was “Wednesday” on the ‘60s TV show).
In her private chamber, an evangelist (Ron Jeremy) caught with his hand in the nookie jar convinces Aja that she can’t be redeemed unless she’s sinned. And what better sin than having sex with Ron Jeremy? Butler eats peanuts as he watches Dominique and Aja munch each other out during the court’s recess. The crew takes another break to observe Horner with lawbreakers Cameo and Taylor Wane. Despite some minor sound glitches, this is a fun and funny farce with just as many yuks as fucks. Worth having.
