Congratulations to Inhand Video on some dazzling promotional work on their most recent gay videos. Heavenly and In The Raw both got the big push, with lush graphics, advance brochures and posters. Heavenly is worth it. In The Raw I'm afraid, is not.

The big draw is a new star called Tony Lamas (so named, I assume, for a vague resemblance to a certain prime-time soap hearthrob, though this also happens to be the name of a famous cowboy boot maker in Texas). Lamas is on the front of the box. Lamas is on the back of the box. He's also on both side panels. A viewer could certainly be forgiven for thinking this was pretty much a Tony Lamas video, when in fact the big brunet clocks in for only two poorly photographed, badly staged, wholly unsatisfying solo scenes at the start and finish.

Lamas is indeed big, muscular and impressively endowed, but he has no idea how to act hot for the camera, His performance is like the painful parody of a bewildered bodybuilder pulling his pud for a half-asleep director, though I suspect there's no parody involved.

The rest of the video is fairly low-grade material, though the commonest grunt in the cast comes off like a superstud compared to Lamas, The San Francisco locations are generally wasted, as are usually competent performers like Brian Estevez and Gene Lamar.
