Germany was having trouble,

What a sad, sad story,

Needed a new leader to restore

Its former glory…

Where ‘o where was he,

Where could that man be…

We looked around, and then

We found, the man for you and me…

And it’s Springtime for Hitler and he and his merry crew, Goerhing, Goebbels and Himmler travel to a whorehouse for a weekend with the girls and military policy. Cleverly intertwined with old World War II newsreel footage of Hitler and the songs of Spike Jones, this funny, sometimes sexy romp with Adolf, Eva and company plays some of the same games as Mel Brooks’ best movie, The Producers, but takes different historic license with these Nazis’ sex lives.

For Example:

*Goebbles is asexual

*Goerhing is from south Germany, which is similar to South Bronx

*Himmler had sex with Eva Braun before Hitler even met her

*Eva’s first lay was with her father; Himmler first did his sister

*The sounds of Wagner always were played during three-girl lesbian scenes

Okay, so lesbians are never mentioned in the history books, but I’ll take the same poetic license. Meanwhile, a few sex scenes measure up, most notably mike Horner with Gayle Sterling and Billy Dee and Mike Horner ravaging Alicia Monet. Others aren’t always up to snuff. The best sex scene though, begins when Nikki Knights ties Jon Martin (Hitler) up and uses his human riding crop to her best advantage.

The technical aspects are only average; in face some scenes are too dark. But all the actors deliver superb performance with Horner getting special mention as Himmler and Long Chainey turning in a deadpan, non-sexual stint.

Hitler Sucks is an unusual new entry in the adult video market, one that demands your attention. It’s a little shaky in spots, but when it works, it’s excellent. Decent packaging should make it “Springtime for Profits.”
