Kudos to Midnight and director C.C. Goode for not falling into the racist "Stepin Fetchit" or "jive-talking-gangsta" traps that plague most features with an all-black cast. Yes, this video has a weak plot, so-so production values, etc. — as do so many others. This is essentially another take on the "magic genie" story, with Tamara Skye and Julian St. Jox in the leading roles. Jimmy Z. is the Zambian version of a "spirit" or genie who appears out of a trunk the couple receives as a gift, and from there the action begins.
The chemistry between the performers is so wonderfully intense that most of the video's shortcomings melt away like ice on a hot sidewalk. Award potential exists for two of the five scenes: Sean Michaels and Latelle Olay's bathroom burner, and Sean should get Best Tease for his delicious torture of Tamara with his tongue! This vid's gonna be a chart-topper, so order early, and display prominently.
