Loosely adapted from the classic Marlene Dietrich vehicle of the same name, this feature doesn't seem to know where to go. Ostensibly, it's the story of former police captain Jamie Gillis' infatuation with nightclub singer Kristall, but the fact is, they don't seem to have much of a relationship at all. She spends some time trying to get him to do something useful instead of just hanging around her dressing room, but his attempts at comedy are dismal. There's also a sort of plot involving the cops trying to set up club owner Steve Drake for a bust because his new dancer (Shawnee Gates) may or may not be underage.

Fortunately, there's some quite decent sex, including a hot lesbo number with Kristall and Mona Lisa, complete with Kristall using a strap-on on both Mona and Jamie. Then Steve gets to cum between Aja's luscious tits; Cal Jammer gets to plow Shawnee's south 40 on stage while Lauryl Canyon and Aja have a lickfest in the background, and Jerry Butler opens Saki's backdoor in a tape-within-a-tape that only serves to confuse the plot even more.

The bottom line is, pathos is hard to do anytime, and sending Jamie out to do his comedy routine in full drag just doesn't fit the bill. So watch this for the sex and fast-forward through the dialogue. The lovely box featuring Kristall should be marketed with Part 1 for optimum effect.
