Randy West plays a film producer, promoting his latest opus in Cannes, while his reluctant star, Taylor Wane, is staying in hiding, pursued by reporter Marissa Malibu. Why Taylor chooses to "hide" in Cannes at the height of the festival can only be explained by porn logic. Unlike most "Cannes" titles, this one actually makes use of the setting, with plenty of festival shots and other outdoor footage giving it a distinct flavor.
Six sex scenes are offered, but curious lapses mar the overall effort. For instance, sound levels for dialogue are poor throughout. Canterbury takes a static setting — the massage table oral/reverse cowgirl-anal for Dick Nasty and French masseuse Juliette Rodin — and invests it with inventive lighting and provocative angles; but in a staircase encounter between Randy and P.J. Sparxx, with the great angles available on stairs, he parks P.J. bent over against the wall for the entire fuck, rendering it lifeless. Tiffany rides Randy in another fine reverse-cowgirl anal, but gets left behind in the States. Marissa does a solo on a bidet, showing off her pussy ring (and proving that Americans still don't know what bidets are for), intercut with her "fantasy" of stripping for the boardwalk photogs. Taylor laves Biff Malibu's asshole with her tongue in a gym three-way with Tony Martino; and P.J. and Marissa contribute a watery girl/girler for a weak close. More interesting than hot, but well worth a look.
