There’s a pleasant quality about this “behind the scenes” look at the adult movie industry, and the softly shot scenes should make Tricks Of The Trade a suitable entry for the couples’ market. Set at a house during the filming of an adult feature, the “film within a film” has hot erotic performances from Dana Lynn and Stephanie Rage, and John Leslie is fine as the world-weary director whose flashback scene with Kathleen Jentry is one of the most erotic and touching the industry has produced in a while. There’s also a barn-burning orgy scene to close the feature that earns its laurels. There’s enough tricks in Tricks Of The Trade to give it good recommendation; if this is what really goes on when the camera isn’t running, it’s a  wonder the actors can get any work done.
