What could have been a cute satire of moviemaking, blackmail and porn turns out pretty flat in this uncharacteristic Michael Carpenter offering. Marc Wallice is a star of bad action movies, but he must be doing okay, since a blackmailer wants $100,000 to keep quiet about his blue movie days. Marc and producer Jonathan Morgan try to turn the tables on the crook, but it doesn't work.

The sex does work in Up Against It, with two good looks at gorgeous Sydney St. James, one in a pairing with Wallice and the other with blackmailer Sean Ricks. There's also an excellent girl/girl scene that has nothing to do with the plot, but it does have Brigitte Aime and that bundle of pleasure. Tami Monroe.
