The original title of this piece was Beach Blanket Bango, but that name is still remembered as a classic for its stirring scenes of Rene Bond singing and Ric Lutze's attempts at acting, so for that or some other reason, the new name was chosen.

As our story opens, our hep cats and cool chicks are hanging at the beach hut, digging on Sarah-Jane's erotic poetry.
