With waves and bodies crashing, Babe Watch is a sexy, seashore saga. Director Adams has assembled a cast that definitely knows how to ride a wave out. BW shows us that life at the beach is more than fun and games — well, not really.
Holly Body (with a holy moley body) and lifeguard T.T. Boy exchange small talk as well as body parts. As though not to leave prints, Holly keeps her gloves on while working the weasel. Good thing too — with her lack of enthusiasm she could be arrested for impersonating a blow job. T.T. Boy uses his short board and rides her hard and fast, both doggie and mish. Enter Tony Tedeschi (a fellow lifeguard) to remind T.T. Boy that it's the first day of work.
After reporting to work and meeting newcomer Asia Carrera, Tony and T.T. go off on their assignment. They catch more than a wave as sunbathers, Brittany O'Connell and Brooke Waters, are feeling the effects of the sun and are getting very hot. They dip into each other's sea and wind up with a fishy taste in their mouths.
Head lifeguard, Jon Dough, personally instructs Asia in some lifesaving techniques. Unimaginative camera angles and ho-hum head has the duo simply ebbing and neaping their way through it.
At a party thrown by race-car driver Buck Adams (who is saved from drowning by Rebecca Wild) some pool side action takes place. Tony Tedeschi (being the nice guy he is) lotions up fellow lifeguards Bianca Trump and Kylie Ireland. Having obviously skipped breakfast, Tony eats twice. In Gershwin-like fashion he plays "Rhapsody In Blue" upon their organs. The girls in perfect harmony play his glockenspiel and give each other the thrice over beautifully.
Rebecca and Buck go at it like the infield at Dodger stadium, hard and fast. They play all six positions until Buck finally drives one in. Their simulated game ends with a nice light moment when Rebecca asks the sweat heavy Buck, "Is that it?"
Babe Watch isn't just about the beach, although wherever viewed it will cause a swell. Coming attractions of Babe Watch 2 hint that you won't want to miss that either. Reassembling this cast is a win-win situation.
