We have here a very ambitious and artsy effort that, well, sort of succeeds. I think. You will either love it or walk away bewildered. I did both. The first thing you have to do, though, is fast-forward through the first 20 minutes (not counted in the time listed above). Don't ask questions; just do it. (It's a 20-minute commercial for Kiva's other offerings.) Done that? Okay, we're ready to start.

Kiva, an attractive and charismatic young woman, finds her sexual alter ego naked and speaking to her from her television, a la Sharon Kane from Damiano's Night Dreams. "Video Kiva" talks Kiva into discovering herself via masturbation. Kiva does herself in moods that range from flannel shirt prude, to New Orleans roaring twenties vamp reminiscent of "loops" (with wig, costume, canopied setting, sepia-toned, and mood music), to a modern babe in a "flashdance" torn shirt who uses an assortment of dildos that rotate between both holes. The end has a double-dong d.p. finish — all watched intently by her TV self.

The creative dual monologue script, music, editing, special effects, and overall attention to details gives one the feeling that this highly sexual voyeuristic monofuck could almost be a project for some avaiit garde college film class. Impressive, draining, and hey — I guess I did like it after all! I think.
