This is the type of romantic show we used to see from directors Paul Thomas or Eric Edwards. Scripts were often by Marc Weiss or Ariel Hart, and they worked. Now comedy mavens Scotty Fox and writer Cash Markman try their hand at it. They have the right idea and there's more good than bad here, but there's not quite enough heart in it.
Nikki Dial, a sure bet for a Best New Starlet nomination, is a successful writer of romantic novels. On a first date with a bowling bozo of an oaf (well-played by Jake Williams), she gives in to his loutish advances -- which seems out of character for a writer who dreams of a man like the guy who always wins the heart of her fictional heroine, Christina. Most of the action scenes take place between Nikki's imaginary people, including a well-paced threesome involving Randy Spears, Lacy Rose and Kaelynn Roberts.
This is a sexually-satisfying feature that should be pointed out when ladies ask you if there's anything they would like, as this really does fit into the category of "couples video." Very well-packaged and pretty hot.
